Penguin India had organized an Entertainment Quiz on Saturday, 20th March 2010, at The Amphitheatre, Habitat World, India Habitat Centre, Delhi, as part of The Penguin Library Spring Festival.
Yasir from Delhi won the first prize and i came joint second. It was a closely contested quiz where the point difference between the top two was a mere 10 points. But full credit to Yasir for keeping his cool and emerging the winner.
Veteran actor Bob Christo was the Chief Guest :)
He told me that he's now settled in Bangalore and is close to finishing his autobiography, which will soon be published by Penguin.
Overall, a really nice evening.
The last I heard of Bob Christo was that he has settled in Bangalore as a Yoga Trainer in a five star Hotel. Hindi Cinema misses him badly. He always did his roles excellently, although most of his roles were of an Englishman, he acted as Ahmadshah Abdali in the historical serial Panipat ki Aakhri Jung (The Great Maratha)and protrayed the character excellently.
